Information and self-help tools, not legal representation.

Last reviewed: 6 September 2026.

Purpose

Your Parking Rights Unlocked provides free general information and self-help tools to help motorists understand parking notices, evidence, appeal routes and relevant sources. It is not a law firm and does not act for you, file documents for you, or create a solicitor-client relationship.

No guarantee of outcome

Parking and enforcement cases turn on facts, documents, dates, jurisdiction and changing law or codes. A checker result, template, community case or suggested argument is not a promise that a charge is invalid or that an appeal will succeed.

Deadlines

Always use the deadline printed on the actual notice, rejection, tribunal document, court form or enforcement notice and verify the applicable service rules. Calculators on this site are screening aids only. Court papers, Orders for Recovery and enforcement notices should never be ignored.

Your responsibility

You must check that every statement you submit is true and supported by your evidence. Do not use the site to invent facts, falsely deny driving, alter evidence or make a statutory declaration/witness statement that is untrue.

Sources and community cases

Authoritative-source records are identified separately from community cases. Community cases are context only, are not legal precedent, and may not be independently verifiable. Historical codes and rules can differ by date and site transition status.

When to get individual legal advice

Consider regulated legal advice where a case involves court proceedings, a judgment, enforcement agents, substantial costs, complex lease/employment issues, disability discrimination, criminal allegations or any situation where the consequences exceed an ordinary parking appeal.

External websites

Links are provided to help you reach primary and official material. Your Parking Rights Unlocked does not control third-party sites and cannot guarantee that an external page remains available or unchanged.

Availability and changes

The service may be corrected, updated, withdrawn or changed without notice. Material should be versioned and reviewed, but no website can guarantee that every rule changes at the same moment an external source changes.

Paid personalised appeal preparation

The ticket checker, general guidance, possible-ground assessment and urgent court/enforcement information are available without payment. Where the site offers preparation of a personalised first-stage appeal, the displayed price is £2.49 as a one-off payment unless a different price is clearly shown before checkout.

The payment buys preparation and access to the generated appeal text; it does not buy legal representation and does not guarantee that a parking company, authority, tribunal or court will cancel a charge or penalty. You remain responsible for checking the generated text against your original documents before submitting it and for meeting all deadlines.

There is no subscription and we do not take a percentage of any amount you save. If a technical failure means a paid appeal cannot be supplied, contact us using the details shown on the site so the payment can be investigated.
